The Visual Chronicles, Abya Yala’s book, is a collection of experiments based on the signs from the ancient cultures of Ecuador. The 216 pages showcase 17 experimental typefaces, 425 Andean patterns, over 40 illustrations, and 115 visual signs.
ABOUT BOOK
The book compiles the best of the first 50 experiments that designer Vanessa Zúñiga Tinizaray carried out in her first 7 years of researching the visual signs of the original cultures of Ecuador in the project "Visual Chronicles of Abya Yala".
PRINT
In 2014 few copies were printed to share the research project at conferences around the world, to participate in the Type Directors Club, Ibero-American Design Biennial and some of his experiments in the Bienal Tipos Latinos. No prints in stock at the moment.

El Libro Crónicas Visuales del Abya Yala. Registros del 1 al 50, cuenta con una recopilación de experimentos visuales que se han venido realizando en base a los signos visuales de las culturas ancestrales del Ecuador. Son 216 páginas con 17 tipografías experimentales andinas, 425 módulos andinos, más de 40 ilustraciones y 115 signos visuales en los que se basaron los experimentos.
